Call for proposals

We invite you to submit a proposal for a talk or a workshop for the AI Week that will take place in Tel-Aviv University on November 17th – 21th 2019.

The submission deadline is August 1st, 2019 (11:59 PM, Israel time).

AI Week will focus in areas of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence and how it applies to the real world. The conference will feature a main venue and six parallel tracks in each day, five tracks for technical presentations, and one track for the Israeli AI Research Symposium which has a separate submission form.

Join us for the AI Week, an event focused around artificial intelligence and machine learning implementation, including data science tutorials and case studies. The AI Week expected ~2000 attendees as data scientists, applied machine learning researchers, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, VPs of data science, professors and students. Hear best practices, war stories, vital dos and don’ts and precisely how innovators are deploying machine learning solutions in industry, and the business impact they deliver. The field serves as an excellent setting for participants to demonstrate the application of their work in a rich, real-world domain. Accordingly, authors are invited to submit proposals on a broad spectrum of research topics that include, but are not restricted to:

  • Future of AI - Autonomous devices, Dialogue Bots, Intelligent robots and AI Hardware
  • Innovation in AI methods - Deep Learning, Reinforcement learning, Natural Language Understanding, Automation of Machine-Learning, Data Science Collaboration
  • Big Data Analytics – Systems for Machine Learning, Large scale Analytics, Continuous Delivery and DevOps in AI, Productionisation of Machine Learning
  • Analytics use cases in the following domains: Healthcare, IoT, Education, Fintech, Cyber, Retail, Computer Vision, Agriculture, Industry 4.0, AI in Enterprise and AI 101

Proposal guidelines

  • Please submit an informative proposal that will include the problem statement, the solution, the challenges, why it is unique and the key takeaway of the audience.
  • Up to 1 page – but not less than half a page. Based on our experience in the last four years short proposals tend to miss a lot of the information needed to have a good review.
  • Please plan for a 30 min talk / 3 hours workshop and plan the amount of content accordingly, not too much and not too little.
  • Specify the prerequisites of your audience, it will help us better assign it to tracks
